At 12:04, Fairmount was alerted to a motor vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of W. Genesee Street and Sunnybrook Drive. Fairmount Engine 4, Engine 6, and Car 4 responded. Units arrived to find a vehicle into a utility pole which sheered at the base and a second vehicle with a sole occupant requiring extraction. Crews extracted the patient and secured hazards. Patient was transported by WAVES. Expect delays in the area as utility crews replace the damaged pole.
